Pandemonium, New Show from the Creators of Stomp, to Hit the Road

Pandemonium: The Lost and Found Orchestra, a new production from the creators of long-running off-Broadway hit Stomp, will take its unique brand of music on the road beginning this fall. Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the show follows a successful U.K. debut at the Brighton Festival with a North American national tour beginning on September 16 in Miami.

Described as a sister production to Stomp, which utilizes everyday objects to create rhythm, Pandemonium takes the technique one step farther by turning everyday objects into an array of “invented instruments.” Performed by the Lost and Found Orchestra, the show recreates each section of a traditional symphony orchestra using items including saws, bottles, whirly toys and traffic cones to play complete scores. The 25-member cast includes veteran Stomp performers, classical musicians, physical comedians and aerialists, and will be joined in each touring city by a local choir which will contribute vocals to the mix.

Following its North American opening in Miama, Pandemonium: The Lost and Found Orchestra will make its way to Atlanta, GA; Philadelphia, PA; Hartford, CT; Toronto, ON (Canada); Chicago, IL; and Costa Mesa, CA. Dates will be announced shortly.
